There's a presidential debate tomorrow night! 📺 These always remind us of some important history. In 1988, the League of Women Voters of the US stopped sponsoring presidential debates because of "stringent, unyielding, and self-serving demands" to put control of the format in the hands of the two dominant parties. The League said it had "no intention of becoming an accessory to the hoodwinking of the American public."
