A glimpse of Pathfinder 1 from our house, about to transit Salesforce Tower.

The shot almost worked - 300mm wasn't quite long enough and there was a lot of turbulence in the air (making edges jittery), but it was still kind of cool to see the world's largest aircraft floating around downtown like a stoner looking for a brownie in the pantry.

A giant, helium-filled airship floats across the sky, near San Francisco's tallest building (The Salesforce Tower). Other buildings, both short and tall, fill the lower third of this picture... and a blank, featureless sky fills the upper two-thirds. Taken over a distance of about two and a half miles. Monochrome.
