βDonβt think of an elephant!β
As someone with #adhd, one of the hardest things for me to do is to STOP thinking about something, and focus on something elseβor nothing at all, when itβs time to rest.
Being able to put an idea on the mental shelf and trust that there will be another occasion to pick it up later is ridiculously hard. Itβs like stopping a freight trainβit takes miles due to the inertia.

My Reminders/Todo list is a double-edged sword. It both acts as a place where I stash thing I need to do, and also a depressing reminder of all the stuff I need to do π₯²
I have to force myself to look at my Todo list.

Something new to hyper focus on, oh my. Good or bad.
Recently took something off my todo list as done after 22 years on there. Lost a while hyper focusing on that.
