The franchise lives on, and for that, I am glad. I sat in the theater and let it wash over me, the spectacle, the noise, the flickering light. At home, it was another story. A struggle, truth be told. It did not take hold of my imagination as Prometheus had. I've watched Prometheus a dozen times, maybe more. It's despised by many, I know. But for me, it has a special place in my heart.
