Hoarders = conscientious objectors to capitalism? (Latest #video)

I don't know if I'll ever write fiction. I aspire to explain in detail my vision of a society that I want to live in. The production of goods slows down as complex, widespread systems are created to reuse everything possible. Profit is an unnecessary complication that interferes with goods going to those who need & want them.

I think we resist change because materialism is one of few pleasures.

The video linked above is me talking to camera expressing my negative feelings about material transactions. A reasonable counterpoint might be that not all selling is predation. But I don't think that my feelings are inexplicable. Thus I believe that certain types of "hoarding" arise as reactions against our self destructive economy. I felt better about selling art once I made it available on a sliding scale, allowing the collector to choose the value. I felt better but my sales went down. 🙃
