“Verloren im Dunst” / Lost in the mist

An old favorite. I was aiming for a simple image of Manhattan buildings in fog, when this gull decided to contribute. Best photobomb ever.

Photo of a seagull flying in front of skyscrapers obscured by fog, such that the bird appears against a blank field, floating above the faded lower halves of buildings. The image is in tones of blue, and to me conveys a mood of quiet mystery.
