I originally put the cat food tray on the table because I couldn't be bothered to properly clean the floor of Stranger Particles just then, then noticed that it's so much nicer to not lean or crouch down to manage the cat food or water... But also: Karvinen sits down to eat like a little gentleman, on his chair.

#Cats

A lower quality but still information laden photo of three cats on one spoke of an L shaped desk. A mostly black cat on the left is sitting up primly. A brown and white tabby cat is on the desk, leaning down to eat some kibble off a puzzle cat feeder. A ginger tabby cat is sat at the table, on a high stepladder chair, his tail tucked under the seat, delicately enjoying some wet food off a white ceramic plate. Next to him is a water bowl, full, with a pastel mosaic design monkey upon it. There's a sewing machine behind the cats, and on the other spoke of the desk a computer setup, mug of tea and assorted desktop junk. It's not a very serene or controlled composition, but there's three cats.

No but really, if you have any kind of blood pressure or postural wonkiness going on? Cat food off the floor! It's so nice! The tray contains most of the crumbs and such, too.

@Dangerous_beans Nope! All three will just happily eat off the same plates, no growling or hissing either. They grew up together and have never lacked for food, so I don't think it even occurs to them to take it elsewhere. Even with treats they're used to me doling them out individually, and will patiently wait for their turn. 😄

@Dangerous_beans Oh! They are so nice with each other! It must be so stressful when the little ones make war at every feeding occasion (had a college that was trying to merge his and a new parters cat couples ... and it was less harmonious).
