My #LinuxAudio setup from July 2010. I still have the Korg nanoKontrol and the BCR2000. I sold the BCF2000 and the Focusrite 10. All the other stuff either broke down or was brought to the thrift shop.
On a software level a whole lot has changed too. I switched from a modular setup to a monolithic setup, from JACK to just ALSA, from Ubuntu to #Debian and from Qtractor to #Ardour.

in reply to Ercanbrack • • •Sorry. I want to clarify. I said that the new standard for Linux session management is Non. That is incorrect. Non was the application that used the Non Session Manager (NSM).
NSM was the name of the Non Session Manager, however, it was forked and the current session manager standard for Linux is the "New Session Manager", still abbreviated, NSM. It's here:

TL;DR
RaySession uses NSM (New Session Manager), not Nom. Sorry.
GitHub - jackaudio/new-session-manager: Assists music production by grouping standalone programs into sessions. Community version of "Non Session Manager".
