Despite not specifying the changes, the speaker mentioned extending a loan as a possible way to meet #republicans ' demands.

#Russia is expected to concentrate its spring offensive in the Donetsk region, reports The Institute of Studies of War.

Despite the buildup of Russian troops in different areas, limited resources may compel Russia to prioritize the advancement in Avdiivka direction.

More than half of Russians blame #Ukraine for the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall in Moscow, reported the OpenMinds polling agency.

Only 27% of respondents attribute the blame to the Islamic State, which officially claimed responsibility for the attack.

Hi folks – it’s Tim here.

We all woke up bleary eyed and cursing our clocks this morning – since Ukrainians observe the change in daylight savings time three weeks after the United States, we lost an hour overnight.

Ukrainians like to say that this is a country without spring or fall – and that the seasons change without warning between winter and summer.

It’s a good thing too, given the recent Russian airstrikes on infrastructure.

As it gets warmer, I’m turning off the heating in the apartment and starting to crack open a window.

Morale across the country is at a low, from what I can tell.

Zelenskyy warned recently that the Russians are preparing another offensive campaign for late May or June.

A retreat, the president said, is what they’re trying to prevent from happening.

And the long term outlook is poor: Russian artillery are being fired at a rate of six shells to every Ukrainian shell.

We, too, are preparing for the possibility of a quickly worsening situation here.
