thanks Aral, would be interesting to see the cause of it.
Zero tears shed for T-Towers and anyone who pays into his wallet tho.

“Tesla CEO Elon Musk claims the explosion has nothing to do with the Cybertruck itself, saying the company was able to remotely access data from this specific Cybertruck to prove it wasn’t caused by the vehicle.”

It is funny to me that this is probable enough they had to disprove it. ”This particular cybertruck didn't catch fire on its own.”

in reply to Aral Balkan

Man-in-pub and bloke-on-Facebook will be citing this for the whole of 2025. "Those electric cars, they're bloody dangerous, they just catch fire, you can't put the fire out, 'ere look at this photo of a Tesla Dumpertruck just the other day, bloody 'ell, I'd never 'ave one, oi, Jeff!, did you see that Range Rover in that car park the other month, on fire it was, can't put it out, bloody dangerous those electric cars… "

And so on. All night. #evs

If it was a terrorist attack, I wonder why they didn't just drive it through the front doors first for maximum effect.
in reply to Aral Balkan

I know, and it’s freaking awesome, but I’m not buying the complete legitimacy of this actual image. Still, omg! 🙀😹
in reply to wendinoakland holiday edition

@wendinoakland Word on the street is that "TRUMP" over the doorway is photoshopped in, but everything else, cybertruck, fire, location, are all real.
in reply to Jimmy Havok

@jhavok @wendinoakland It's clearly visible in the video. Trump puts his name in big letters everywhere on his buildings. You wouldn't need to fake that.
in reply to MacCruiskeen

@maccruiskeen @wendinoakland I circled Trump International Hotel LV in Google Maps but couldn't find a matching location, however, the imagery is 4 years old. There are a lot of Trump logos, but they don't quite match the one in the photo, they're more garish.

@dj@ti.parcero.casa So I’m the equivalent of a pro-Trump conservative? At least try to learn something about what you’re talking about before broadcasting your ignorance to the general public.

My initial reaction to that image was to laugh because I thought it was probably photoshopped and meant to represent a Musk/MAGA conflagration over H1-B visas.

The article said something about fireworks/mortars/etc., so the fire seems to be due, at least in part, to what was in the truck, as opposed to a malfunctioning battery.

That main entrance of the Trump hotel looks like the doors of a dilapidated train station from the 50s in a remote impoverished region of Germany.

:loading: I was waiting for this exterior view, Aral.
Thank YOU for providing it.
The view from the lobby interior didn't show enough detail of Elon's folly exploding in front of Trump's gaucherie, and those views were all that were being posted earlier
Haven't heard yet if any raccoons were injured in this incident. :loading:

low quality cars . Nikola tesla mandic would not support this
in reply to Aral Balkan

why is everyone talking about this and not the guy who killed 10 people.
in reply to Aral Balkan

Indeed. Bomber stayed in the car so the family receives a martyr benefit.
in reply to Aral Balkan

News (tagesthemen, Germany) tell the driver was killed and that Tesla would be investigating, why not police?
A technical fault more likely?

Even buying a Tesla does not deserve the driver's fate.

in reply to Aral Balkan

There's some connection between MAGA infighting, accidents, cars and New Year, but I'm not sure if it will be very happy...

day one came…and exploded..wonder how tomorrow will go?🙄
in reply to Aral Balkan

What that shows is that if you stuff a Cybertruck absolutely full of fireworks and set them all off at once, you still have some time to wait before the battery will catch fire. By which time you are already dead.
in reply to Aral Balkan

I was going to say it was like a flaming bag of dog crap on the front porch but this will do.

Man, January 1st this year is a good one. We (the US) got a great public domain (Tintin! "All Quiet on the Western Front"! "A Room of Ones Own"! Possibly Magritte's "The Treachery of Images"!) That would've satisfied me, but this too? Maybe it's the universe making up for 2024.
in reply to Aral Balkan

Gotta say, the writing for last season was pretty cliche, but they're really starting with some solid symbolism for this new season. I'm down to see where it goes 🤣

What an iconic image.

For anyone wanting to know, this is more or less likely another attempt trying to assassinate (Former/soon to be)President Trump and not just a case of Elon Musk's cars randomly exploding by the way.
