@yora - As I understand it, Midjourney was looking solvent almost right out the gate.

But also, they were piggybacking off a LOT of other AI development; not remotely "from scratch".

If that's still true, given how much free stuff is in the same space and how much pressure to improve constantly (which they DO need to work for).... Dunno.
