...and it took Free University Berlin (FUB) decades to finally rename the "Otto-Hahn-Bau" (the former Kaiser-Wilhelm-Institut where nuclear fission was first demonstrated) into "Hahn-Meitner-Bau" after having given her the honorary doctorate (Dr. h.c.) already in 1956.
