I really wish #Tidal had better content moderation. The amount of AI slop getting added to the library every day is out of control. It's really screwing up artist profiles (because the AI users are using the same artist names), and it's made search in the app almost completely useless. I've gotten to the point where, if I really need to search for anything, I open Spotify to get exact details, then run a very specific search in Tidal to actually listen to it.

That's insane. I left Tidal a while ago and started hosting my own music on Plex, but that proved to be a bigger pain than I wanted to deal with so I'm back with Qobuz now that they have some personalized recommendations and stuff. I'm liking it and I haven't seen any AI music. Given their track record I don't think I ever will.

@jcrabapple Yeah, it's really making me reconsider where I want to stream my music from. It completely ruins my weekly "new arrivals" playlist.

For instance, look at this screenshot and tell me which of these singles is actually by Nero (the British EDM trio).

Hint: there's only 1 in this screenshot (and there are 30 more "new" singles above the screenshot - most of which include a photo of the same woman shown on the top-left cover in the screenshot).
