We normal people still turn off lights to conserve energy. We limit heating and AC.
In fact, I don't even have a car, partially for environmental reasons. Instead, I pay for the DE-ticket, which lets Germans use local/regional public transport for free.
And this person just pumps tons of CO2 into the air, because he can. Because he gives a shit about our planet and the people living here.
