... Is it the colours that are offensive in your opinion? I did a quick search around about this meme and trans issues and it comes up pretty blank.

OK, but context is important. A clown is one thing, and calling an org or a person a clown is obviously meant as an insult in that context (not for being colourful). Being dressed up colourfully could just mean you're Elton John, who is fabulous.

@kinetix it is the feeling that dressing up colorful is associated with being something bad. It's so simple like that.
