I worked with another ADHD person before (very long story, turned out to be a con artist) who rattled off instructions in a very long ramble and expected me to remember all of them.
And most of those things were half-baked and never followed-up on anyway. (I did eventually quit)

:neocat_scream: Write them all down or install a voice recorder app ffs, what is wrong with you?!

I'll be lucky if I can keep two, maybe three things in my head for any length of time.

Shitty person, but the least self-aware ADHD person I've ever met.

@alex that's wild.😳

I am the same way. I have like 2 gb of memory and life expects 8 gb.🤣

I'm not neurodivergent, but I still pull out my phone to write the instructions down.

I just tend to get this blank look and my wife is like...."You're not going to remember all that are you?" "nope" "Sending a text <starts texting what I need to remember with a keyword to search it with> Cause I have trained my self to check my recent texts for this stuff.

@ppb1701 that's what I do to.

"Text me this shit cause I ain't gonna remember otherwise"😂

But then randomly I'll rattle off some obscure tidbit about a tv show, movie, or video game from the 80s or 90s without looking up anything. I sometimes get the "How can you remember that, but not what I told you 5 minutes ago?" The brain works weird sometimes

@ppb1701 facts. Did you see my post about remembering the most useless shit? 😂
