Mementomori.social has always been a very liberal, pro-tech instance. You could say I wear my "certified Techbro Asshole" title as a badge of honor rather than a badge of shame.

We allow tags.pub, threads.net, bird.makeup, kilogram.makeup, use of GenAI (as long as it complies with other terms), associations and organizations, companies, marketing, the Bluesky bridge bridgy.fed, bots, and users with API access and so on.

It is entirely up to users whom to block, which servers or entire instances to block, and whom to follow or not follow. If this bothers you, you also have the right to limit or block us or me as you see fit.

I know even posting about this might make some people uncomfortable, but I want to be as transparent about these things as possible. These details have been listed on our About page and in our Code of Conduct since 2022.

Most importantly, I want to emphasize that we welcome users from all sides of the spectrum regardless of status, gender, movement, political party (excluding extremism). However, we are NOT a free speech instance. On the contrary, even though we're liberal, you cannot say or post anything that goes against the Code of Conduct or that we consider a violation. Bullies, trolls, and disruptors are not welcome here.
