I'm not that far into Careless People - I find I have to keep putting it down because `omg these people are TERRIBLE`... but of _course_ he does.

What an ass. He could literally go "welp, you beat me, again. Want to come visit my ACTUAL island where I grow wheat and sheep? I just had some heavy equipment brought in we're building the longest road." as a flex, but no. _Fucking billionaires_.

@tezoatlipoca Yep, Careless People by Sarah Wynn-Williams is a not-so-shocking reveal of all the Yesmen around that asshole. It's ridiculous how low they bow to do his every bidding and how little self-reflection there is in those people. They will walk over corpses if need be.
