Look, I know what #Trump and #Vance say are ludicrous, vicious, racist and misogynistic lies. I get the very important need to loudly speak against and call out these lies. (And, yes, that rally speech about taking care of women is creepy predator and abuser shit.) But, research indicates there is something more going on. I think it's a good thing to ask why they are saying such outlandish things.
I feel #MAGA are truly amping up the stochastic terrorism.
Based on what numerous people have studied since 2012, it appears to me they are trying to activate violence by using propagandistic pressure. They are appealing to deep (maybe unconscious) biases (mostly immigrants at present whereas in the past it has also been pro-life and guns) combined with arousing appeals to nation, protection, and the dangerous "other." They need violence in mass amounts by election day. #MAGA information mills have lost listeners/viewers since Jan 6th and with the unpopularity of the #MAGA #ChristianNationalist extreme agenda ( #Project2025 ) along with better pressure on #SocialMedia to curtail and eliminate extremist propaganda. #Trump and #Vance are using their access to mainstream media to re-engage those open to authoritarian proclivities with the hopes they will create what they call "controlled chaos." Think Jan 6th 2.0. but unleashed on Election Day.
In other words, I don't think they've gone off the rails (although I feel these people have some serious psychological issues), but they know exactly what they are trying to do.
So, hang with me. Yes, Jewish people justly took offense at the dog whistling Trump recently did when speaking to them. It was gross and disgusting. But, #Trump wasn't addressing the vast majority of Jewish people. He was trying to reach the extreme, far-right Jewish nationalists. He wants these extremists on board to participate in the far-right violent chaos they are trying to foment.
Think of how #Trump and #Vance HAVE succeeded in causing chaos and violence in #Springfield , Ohio. They are showing us what they can do successfully. Springfield, OH is a warning to us. They are saying watch and take note.

Trump doesn’t cause these social issues. The social issues case Trump. They’re the symptom, not the cause.
The best evidence of this is following mainstream conservative media where their ideas often predate Trump expressing them by days or weeks.
Trump didn’t cause chaos. The chaos caused Trump.

Trump and Vance did not cause or originate or produce what is happening. Those inclined to authoritariansm and its kissing cousins have always been among us in the U.S., often raising their ugly heads. Propaganda has long had its successfully nefarious uses building upon real social issues impacting the public. The extremsists learned well that propaganda had the potential to work for them. Most recently, the deregulation of the airwaves, the internet, then social media were a few of the blessings to what they could accomplish.

Personally, I don't think Trump and Vance are smart enough to be anything but vehicles. That's my opinion. Who knows? Maybe they're geniuses. I just don't see it, however.
