They are right you know? If you aren't faithful to the book, why bother rushing and ruin TV adaptation? Target audiences? Profits? Cavill doesn't think so. Nor does Sapkowski or GRRM. Game of Thrones? Heroes? American Gods? And others. He's a fan of the original Witcher story from the books. Respect for the original material matters. Benioff better not do Liu Cixin injustice in season 2.

3 books in 2 seasons. Lady of the lake is pretty long. And they're skipping the epilogue all together? No Cavill. Yeah. This will be a rushed mess. At least Netflix will actually finish a show they started so theres that.

Good riddance. The writers were arrogant and openly mocked and disrespected Sapkowski writing whilst writing something much worse than what he originally created. Henry Cavill good fed up with it and so did the audience.

@Shadow, First of His Name I agree to a certain extent. Yes, adaptations need to treat the source material carefully - maybe even respectfully.
But I also think any adaptation needs a certain amount of creative freedom to be interesting.
