Periodic reminder that "good billionaire" Marc Benioff is still a massive piece of shit.

In his keynote, Benioff thanked international Salesforce employees for traveling to the United States for the meeting, and asked them to stand. Benioff then said that ICE agents were in the building to keep tabs on them.

Milliardär lockt eigene Angestellte in die USA zu kommen, damit er sie der ICE ausliefern kann und hält das für einen guten Scherz. In Deutschland ist der Konzern #Salesforce mit eigenen Trucks bei den großen CSDs dabei. Mal sehen, wie das dieses Jahr so ankommt.

Two things:

Was it a joke? I'm beginning to wonder.

It reminds me of a speech to shareholders by Gerald Ratner, the head of a UK jewelry chain. He literally said that they were making money by selling "crap" to his customers.

This was widely reported and it destroyed the business which bore his name.
