Green Party (of England & Wales) membership stood at around 68,000 when @ZackPolanski became leader & in not even 3 months, the party’s membership has increased by over 100,000 people!

That is not just a monumental shift, we are seeing the first signs of a literal restructuring of #UK politics.

The people yearn for compassionate and sensible #politics, not pandering to the rich and racist.

thank fuck for that.

it is deeply ironic to me that an article about UK's first serious political party features posts from twitter dot com, which is a billionaire's personal website for oligarch-boot-licking sycophants to be abused by each other and the owner, but you gotta reach out to, and help, all kinds of people in this world, even the ones who compulsively eat their own and others' shit.

@falcennial I didn’t even appreciate that irony till now! It is unfortunate but I’m glad it’s been supplemented with high-profile media appearances on other platforms & TV.

Would be nice to see more engagement from them on the fediverse but @ScottishGreens does stand out in this in that they are really active! (Shoutout to @HI_Greens, @EdinburghGreens & @maggiechapman for regularly posting!).
