In the 1960s, kids in my school got the Weekly Reader, a short, kid-level newsletter. They were talking about climate change in articles for kids that long ago. Granted, not every kid had that kind of information back then, but by the 1970s, news articles about the threats to our planet from pollution and the oil industry were common. It's difficult for me to understand folks are now surprised by crises the public was consistently warned about from 50 years ago or more. How..?
