bear in mind that police can associate phones if they travel together, so don't get a 'special activity' phone and have it on at the same time and in the same place as your normal phone. The correlation is made through cell tower triangulation but could presumably also be done through any other locators (same or different type per phone). This can be done retrospectively by data mining, so be careful from the moment you get the second phone.
