Alright, here's a sneak preview of my ADHD project du jour: snaggle.link/

It lets you make links between documents in different apps, even (at least some) ones that don't traditionally support deep linking.

It's like the older Hookmark app, but AGPL'd and 100% free. I'm about to submit the iOS and iPadOS apps (which are *way* better than the alternative, IMHO), and they're also completely free.

Also, in honor of Independence Day, please read the privacy policy. I'm proud of it.

There is a typo in the privacy policy, "frecency", but it's otherwise A+, I wish more of them would be like this.

#GDPR #Privacy

@szakib That's a, uh, somewhat-real-ish word, combining frequency and recency. Basically, links you use often, and not log ago, bubble to the top of search results.

Inspiration: github.com/ajeetdsouza/zoxide/…

But thanks! I made the app (and the policies!) that I wanted to use for myself.

Today I learned! And now because I know too, it's a more real real-ish word. :)

@szakib It’s English. You can just make it up as you go and no one will usually notice. 😀

BTW, I re-read what I wrote earlier and might’ve phrased that badly. I wasn’t trying to correct you: “it’s a real word, heathen!” More like, I was trying to think of how to describe it. It’s not exactly a real word. It’s more of a real-ish word.

I think I have actually seen this word before, but it has a Hamming distance of 2 to "frequency", which is a much more real word and could be used in the same place. So the first thing that gets triggered at least in my head is "this is wrong" instead of "this is new".

Anyway, let's bloot on!
