in reply to Cory Doctorow • • •1: first, there are quite a few people who like social media to be a dumpster fire of hatred and bigotry. We should not forget that inconvenient truth.
2: Programmers used to be rare enough to command high wages. Suddenly, masses of them are fired and companies think they don't need them. I really wonder what happened.
(This is a real question and -no- artificial intelligence is not the answer as it is not ready yet)
