That's pretty neat. If they can stimulate sleep, a lot of people wouldn't depend on anticholinergics, possibly raising dementia risks. Plus I'm pretty sure no monkeys died in trials.

It takes a braindead fuckin idiot to let anything musk related near your head, let alone IN it. Bunch of fucking glitched out Nazis coming soon.

The future of personal computing should look like a hippy, headband (interface), sunglasses (display), crystal around the neck (optical computer). I first came up with that idea 25+ years ago, shame we've progressed so little on it, but monetization and IP make everything so inefficient. Money and power of course want nothing you actually control in your possession though, of course.

Fortunately most are rejecting looking like a creep.

optical computer

Optical computers were debunked a decade ago in an ieee article. Visible spectrum photons are 100 million times larger than electrons which means the transitors need to be gigantic. Even gamma rays are 1000 times bigger than electrons.

Zerzan notes a choice of targets by radicals in 1830 which may augur this escape: a clock tower. Shoot out the Symbolic with the guns of the Real, then forward to the very Capital of Pain. Avanti popolo, alla riscossa..
