“Apple is only continuing to patch iOS 18 on devices that can’t run iOS 26.”

Wow. So not only has Apple lost any design culture it had, it also doesn’t give a shit about your security either any longer. This is the mother of all dark patterns right here.
Anyone know if this is the same for macOS?

Are people avoiding iOS 26 because of Liquid Glass? It’s complicated.
Liquid Glass is controversial, but adoption rates aren't as low as they seem.Andrew Cunningham (Ars Technica)

So my question is: do you think Linux is ready to take "us" on? And if it is, would you go mac running Linux, or would you ditch Apple entirely?
I recently started running Fedora on a 2019 MacBook Air to see if abandoning macOS is feasible. Haven't tested enough to have an opinion yet.
