one of the most anxiety-producing things about pronouncements like this are that those of us working to protect trans folks have no way of knowing which horrible thing he’s actually saying he’ll do on day 1. It’s so vague and ambiguous, we’re left unable to develop a specific plan to counter it or minimize the damage. Instead, we have like 5 potential plan B’s for very different scenarios that spread our resources thin or we just try to be ready to react as soon as things happen.

This is a warning for other activists and targeted groups - he’s gotten a bit more cunning by saying things that are so open-ended and you can run yourself ragged trying to prepare. And that’s the point. Not sure how to better counter this but start taking note of this tactic and be ready.
