Oh, and PS., the folks in the European company were appalled by the actions of the Floridians. I’ve actually had to reassure them that they did nothing wrong and that it’s not their fault and to ask them to please stop apologising. Not only are they covering my speaking fee in full regardless as a donation to Small Technology Foundation but they’ve asked if I’d be willing to come talk to them at a future event they’re 100% organising themselves (which I told them I’d be happy to do).
