If you’re still on Substack, you’re in a Nazi bar. You know who visits Nazi bars? Nazis.

Something happened to me recently, and I don't mean to be dramatic, but it's truly a shameful thing.
Two days ago, I joined the writing platform #substack & even though @aral & @fabio told me it wasn't a good platform for me, being Palestinian, I decided to interact on it and post my poems there.
I was subjected to awful abuse in all verbal forms by Zionists there.
But I preferred to remain silent instead of arguing with any fools.
Today, the platform’s banned me!

That's highly divisive rhetoric that I feel the need to take time out of my day to address. You're literally calling me a Nazi for christsakes. Cool your jets dude! Substack is the only platform that I ever got any traction for my music video in support of Palestine. I've seen Zio trolls on there, like everywhere else, but at least suppression is not baked into the algorithms there (yet). It's also not a ghost town like it is here.

@maat You are literally replying to a post where a Palestinian woman is sharing her lived experience of being suppressed on the platform to deny that suppression exists on the platform.

I am super confused why people who describe themselves as progressive or leftist are still there.

Maybe we need more awareness about it being a Nazi bar.
