Reading the #USpol notes today, I realize we'll wake up one morning, or pick up a smartphone, or turn on the radio and it'll be over – he'll be gone.

Things won't get better right away. The rats will fight over the pieces because the next guy doesn't own the cult in the same way. It'll be like the aftermath of the French Revolution, everyone guillotining each other for not being right kind of revolutionary.

It'll still be a mess, but the planet will celebrate like it hasn't in 80yrs or so.
