I don't understand why the UK government is so reluctant to defend its sovereignty. Are they okay with being a vassal to Putin? Are people being paid off?

@FediThing @samiamsam I think a lot of people are implicated, so they prefer to pretend it never happened. also it reopens the brexit wounds, which they are scared of
