Dear Fedi friends, I need your help.

If by any chance any of you have saved the video of #WSocial CEO Anna Zeiter's presentation at the Monaco AI conference (uploaded to YouTube on May 21) I would be ETERNALLY grateful.

The 35 minute video included priceless quotes like: "Yes we have a business model, it's not a philanthropy, we are not a B corp, we actually want to make money."

Following the publication of my exposé, the video has been removed from YouTube!

It is bizarre that the Internet Archive Wayback Machine version no longer has the video, either. You can see the thumbnail for a while, but then it disappears. web.archive.org/web/2026052713…

Also was the video posted to LinkedIn? It must have been, I wonder if it got cached there and is still watchable somehow.

@Blf_tpe well, as @aral pointed out, saying that they're not a B corp but actually only want to make money is pretty revelatory... especially since they kept touting their lofty goals of "saving democracy" and "saving journalism". Plus you should have seen the video for her tone while delivering the line

I was 100% convinced I had saved the video and I was crushed to find out that wasn’t the case. Big lesson learned: next time I’m in a similar situation, I will immediately download the video and back it up to external drives and my self-hosted NextCloud 🥲

I couldn't find it either, as others said, it seems like a paid scrubbing job.

But I commend you for making them scared! Well done E!

I just sent a message to Monaco AI asking for it, they probably won't give me the video, but I hope to contribute to the embarrassment before they "launch".
