I have another gripe to add about the demise of the blue bird app: not being able to follow astronauts anymore.

I remember in the days of Twitter 1.0 I was following lots of astronauts and it was so thrilling to read their messages: from Samantha Cristoforetti, to Leland Melvin, Tim Peake, Chris Hadfield, Mae Jemison...

I see that many are still active on X (whyyyy?!?) while others have stopped microblogging altogether.

I'm impossibly sad about this. Let's get astronauts on the #Fediverse!
