This is one of my favorite little pots from the last kiln load. The pinkish tones come from Alabama #clay and match some of the colors on George Washington Carver’s house paint swatches that I posted about a couple of days ago, also derived from Alabama clay. #pottery
A decorative ceramic pot with a colorful geometric pattern contains a variety of fresh flowers, including a large yellow Mexican sunflower and smaller pink and purple salvia blooms. The pot is dark pink (maybe salmon) and light orange colors derived from natural clay. There are glossy aqua diamond-shaped accents, painted with glaze. The background is light gray and features more pottery in neutral tones.
