The keyboard is a HyperX Alloy, it is pretty nice but it does not come with a USB-C to USB-C cable and it has a small recessed port so not all third-party cables can fit in it.
before termux (+sshd+rsync) I used to run SSHelper to sync to-from my phone. But with termux the environment is SOOO nice. TBD what happens when they lock the walled garden. I already switched to alternative ROM :)
@saahbs Yeah it's a lot of fun. I'm hoping Motorola delays updating their Android for a long time, but if they do get the more locked down one they luckily have instructions on how to unlock the bootloader on their website! It was the best option other than, counter intuitively, the Google Pixel for potentially modifying the OS in the future.
I was considering pixel for ROM use but that is a very self-conflicted choice. Instead I supported a vendor that allows ROM unlocking. I got cmf1 and installed /e/os. Best thing I did in mobile space in a long time.
I'm running /e/os which is VEEERY privacy focused (degoog and all tracking hooks removed and full ACL overrides for all apps). On Lineage and /e/os the finger unlock occasionally hang it - known unresolved bug. Also there is screen over saturation which can be fixed with adb. If you stay with vendor ROM (not privacy focused, full android) it has none of those bugs. I get 2+ days of battery life. CPU is zippy, 8GiB is plenty, well supporterd 5g on T-Mobile in USA. Camera is meh.
