Can we back up a step and explain why the Democrats need this guy's vote?
in reply to troy_friz_zell

@troy_frizzell
because the dem establishment leans centrist, corporatist and spineless

they spend their time obsessing over getting #MAGA votes

it's fucking stupid

since they won't look left, where winning lies, what do we do, us on the left?

the unfortunate, wrong response is "don't vote"

that means the #democrat establishment drifts further right, and MAGA wins

the real answer:

#vote

especially in the #primaries

and just replace these assholes

like what #mamdani did

in reply to ᴮᵉⁿ ᴿᵒʸᶜᵉVOTE IN THE PRIMARIES

@benroyce
There has been no better time in my 60+ years of living to vote against incumbent Democrats in the primaries. Whoever is the Democratic candidate in many of these races will win. So, there is genuine opportunity for change.

If we want change, let's change what we do. Let's all go out and do the work to get better candidates on the November ballot. Vote against Wall Street Democrats.

Let's do this fucking thing!

in reply to troy_friz_zell

@troy_frizzell @benroyce Also, let everyone know what the incumbent did to piss you off (there will be plenty). Otherwise the consultants will make up a reason for them to go further to the right next time.

What was it that caused the democrats to move that far right. Anyone got some ideas? A hint, the problem is still with us.

they should run

she was tending bar and said "fuck this" and... boom

"For 80 percent of this campaign, I operated out of a paper grocery bag hidden behind that bar"
