Impulse was so good! I love Steven Gould's Jumper books, and would happily have watched the show if it had followed them. But the show took it all in a different direction, with a very different tone, and I adored it.

I don't know. One time my buddy, Eric, got teleported to a Waffle House. Apparently one of the employees forgot to feed the hash brown protection demon that day, so it summoned the nearest human it thought it could get away with eating without anyone noticing & it was Eric. They banished the demon & summoned another one to replace it though.

I went to Waffle House once. Once. The food was so horrible that I'm amazed they are still in business. And I'm unwilling to risk a repeat trip to determine of that was just one store, or the whole chain.
