Unfortunately, Mozilla has been filling Firefox with AI junk. LibreWolf is a good AI free alternative.

I have dumped google ...I've installed LineageOS. Using Linux...dumped mainstream media, mainstream social media...fuck the system.

Please only offer services that are actually available! Tuta Drive isn't there yet.

Proton Drive, Koofr, Tresorit, filen can be used today!

Unfortunately Tuta calendar leaves out some important features that are in google. Still trying to replace that one!
in reply to Tuta

Unless it's changed, you can't get email notifications of calendar items. Note I don't use a calendar on a phone, laptop only.

@pa27 Correct, because this would leak info the the server. The app can notify you of events - without infringing your privacy.
in reply to Tuta

Yes, but like many people I need email notifiers, not in app stuff on a phone I rarely look at... Is the calendar only stored locally in the app then? That would imply you can't share calendars either?
in reply to Graeme 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

@pa27 Sharing calendars with other Tuta users works, it's not stored locally, but notifications are handled locally to protect your privacy.
in reply to Tuta

Ok, thanks. Although I fail to see a privacy issue in Tuta Calendar sending a Tuta mail to the same account.
in reply to Graeme 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

@pa27 If the server is involved, we know about your events taking place (even if we don't see the content, this is hurting your privacy). But maybe we'll make it optional in the future to send email notifications.

This is the first time I've seen the Tuta Drive logo. I like the consistency in theme. The different colors will help with opening the right one too. Proton's suite of purple on white icons get me to open the wrong thing far too much.

Another bonus for moving. :mastodance:

That's all great. But why doesn't Tuta work in LibreWolf?

It updates automatically. But I checked it manually as well.
