NeoDB, is that a Chinese floss ActivityPub "product"?

I hope this doesn't sound racist. Nothing wrong with being Chinese or speaking Chinese, we all live on the same planet.

Heck, I might learn Chinese some day or any language for that matter.

Anyway gonna use this for a while now...just to see if I can find stuff blocked there that aren't on NeoDB...

Do you have any concerns besides that it is Chinese?
Just out of curiosity

well, you mention "Chinese" 4 times in your post. Surveillance, perhaps, idk 🙂

@LarsHenriksen

Two things I like with NeoDB is that it is
1. licensed with the "AGPL-3.0" license
2. available on github at github.com/neodb-social/neodb

Now the problem becomes where do we begin to check this code out?

GitHub says these are the languages used:

Python 77.8%
HTML 17.9%
SCSS 2.1%
JavaScript 1.1%
Sass 0.9%
Dockerfile 0.1%
Other 0.1%

Anyway to reply to the surveillance topic, surveillance is a very serious issue and in China they got a "Social Credit System"

I am just a user and not a developer
I assumed that everything on Github is Open Source . Please let me know if you find anything bad.

@LarsHenriksen

same here, I'm mainly a user too and not a developer.

Still code is text and we can all read the text even if it looks like gibberish to us all and after reading it we may not be very certain whether the "read" was worth our time...

I can let you know though if I find a configuration file and something looks "fishy" although I doubt that anyone with really ill intents would hide something there...
