Request for information from people who have up to date knowledge (as far as is possible) of the current state of affairs regarding #AidOrganisations delivering aid in #Palestine

I have very little money to donate, unfortunately, and I’d like to donate it to organisations with the best chance of actually getting help to the people who need it, to maximise the benefit.

I know my tenner here or there isn’t going to do much but I’d like to make the best of what I can do

@ratcatcher We have a list of families from Gaza who we’ve verified using video calls at gaza-verified.org/donate/

As for the UN, etc., they’re being prevented from helping by Israel and the US but I’ll boost your post in case anyone has more up-to-date info on alternatives.

@aral @ratcatcher That’s enormously helpful, thank you!

With only being able to make small, sporadic donations I was thinking an organisation might be able to use economies of scale to do more with it - but not if they can’t actually deliver the aid.

I can’t make a big difference for individual families, sadly, but at least I can know they’re actually getting the donation.
