What I’ve been up to this week: aseachange.com/@elena/statuses…
The big project of the weekend (well Sunday actually, with grandparents looking after my little one) is seeing how “easy” it is to flash Lineage OS on my old Nexus 7. Excited for this challenge 🤗
Wishing you all a lovely weekend!

Looking forward to hearing about the results. Best of luck! It definitely is an incredible feeling when you see it boot the first time.

in reply to Moonshine Brigade • • •@moonshinebrigade I think rolling back would be fairly easy... just putting it in recovery mode and flashing the stock Android (you can download it from the web).
Now I can't do A THING with my Nexus 7 because it's refusing to connect to the internet (SSL warnings for every site) and it won't connect to the Google Play Store... and is slow as a snail. Going back to square one to figure out what to do with it.

in reply to Elena Rossini ⁂ • • •the first answer looks like an easy way to install a CA cert. Not sure if these steps are possible in LineageOS.

in reply to Moonshine Brigade • • •@moonshinebrigade thank you! I haven't been able to install Lineage OS because nothing seems to work on this tablet since updating it to Android 5.5. I just want to use it as an e-reader (so I can do color-coded highlights), grrrr.
I really appreciate your help though!
