Today is the day, the EU decides on Chat Control 1.0. Will they let the Trojan Horse through the gate and let Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn etc continue to scan all your messages?

Voluntary Chat Control is already in place since 2021, named Regulation (EU) 2021/1232. Similar to scanning obligations in the UK and the USA, this regulation allows Big Tech to scan all your data.

Indeed we should protect children cuz they are the future tomorrow, they are the future generation and we should also teach them how things work so that day don't get troubled in the future @mr_masoto

And I tried to use your free offering as a trial multiple times over 4 years. I was paying @protonprivacy but I dont fund nazies or their sycophants. I was looking for a good EU mail provider.

And every time I tried, the accounts were just indefinitely frozen/crippled. Every. Fucking. Time.

Every time I see a new attempt at this, I remember those fedi people shushing me when I said how they cancelled Chat Control is anything but actually cancelling.

Anyway, this is never gonna stop, we have a new initiative to monitor us peasants to prevent us from revolting against the new-age nobility every two or so years.
