Finally moved from Eleventy 0.12 to 1.0.1, which I didn’t really need to do…but I was curious how much work it would involve. Turns out: not much! Just two small wrinkles, one of which is Eleventy-related, the other a weird JavaScript inconsistency that was breaking my Images Responsiver config:

Wild to think that it’s been 4 years since I rebuilt my site in Eleventy, and I really haven’t had to think too deeply about the tooling except when I’ve shipped big features (like my reading/film logs).

Otherwise it’s been stable, which is such a nice contrast to the JS frameworks that I’ve used which seem to deteriorate and break if you aren’t stroking their ego every day.
