it's insane how fast the villagers are reproducing, literally as i was constructing a 12-unit apartment building, they were climbing on the scaffolds and bricks to get into every finished unit. Trenton is on the up. The suburbs are full and i need to make more shotgun houses.
I grew up 20 minutes from Trenton and I don't think I've ever seen a shotgun house there. houses with that square footage are usually duplexes or row houses
@bob its cheap to build them but they are a vernacular housing to the southern US not the Northeast
the area near the Northern Cut canal is not prime real estate and possibly will flood so the shotgun houses i made were a compromise to house the rapidly growing villager population out of available Spruce and Bamboo, despite us originally being in a birch forest
we had used most of the wood for charcoal to fire bricks so new spruce and bamboo replaced it
