And here's an important thing to remember in the coming weeks and months: Every cent of taxpayer money spent by county, state, and federal governments on #LAFires is a fossil fuel industry subsidy. Every disaster and recovery dollar is paying an externalised cost of toxic fossil fuel production.

Anything that dumps should be costed as it’s tapping the wealth of the country.

Or another way to say it is that everything should designed as a closed system.

Petrol cars dump gas. Same for power stations and even cigarettes.

For every melted glacier when it gets warmer, there will be a drought when it gets colder.
