Hi Patrick, and thanks for the feedback! Outside of the back-end you are using with the official clients, the individual plan is currently 1.65 /month or 19.80/year but we still offer one of the best free plans (no limits on passwords or devices), which includes access to the standalone Authenticator app.

On the communication side, we previously shared a blog & community post, and emails are sent out prior to renewal.

@bitwarden
Dang. Clearer communication would be good.

A few months ago, I had started migrating to Bitwarden but had to do a double take and abort the migration because you still can't sort by date!

Maybe focus on features people actually want.

@quaff Thanks quaff, we've been working on implementing some community feature requests, such as the archive feature that rolled out recently, and I'll pass your sentiment to the team.

@bitwarden Thanks for the response! The post wasn't about the free plan — I was a paying customer who left on good terms. A blog post and a renewal email isn't the same as proactively telling customers their price is doubling. Even Netflix sends a clear 'your price is going up to $X on this date' email. That's considered the bare minimum now (in my opinion). You do have a great free plan though!
