Northern Nevada rock imagery.

(Note: The preferred term, at least by the five tribe Bears Ears Inter-Tribal Coalition in the Four Corners region, is now "rock imagery." We no longer call it "art" as we have no idea what was in the mind of the person when they drew the pictograph or petroglyph images. Please be respectful when visiting cultural sites, prehistoric or modern.)

A color landscape photo of a petroglyph and a desert sunset. A large frame filling boulder occupies the left side of the frame. On the boulder are several petroglyphs. The largest one appears to be a creature with four legs and head and a tail shaped somewhat like an arrow. The other smaller glyphs are simple geometric shapes. The right side of the frame is a desert landscape of sagebrush extending out to a far distant range of mountains on the horizon. The thin strip of sky visible is red and orange with late sunset colors.

@ambivalena Thanks! Our sunsets do that. Sometimes they get so red it casts a red glow over everything.
