Oooooh exciting update: Iāve finally made the jump to Proton and Iām feeling pretty excited about it. After a ton of research (and a little trialāandāerror), Iāve decided that this platform will be perfect to help me leave Google behind and continue to boycott the USA.
For those who don't know, Proton is a service based in Switzerland (great privacy laws and not subject to draconian US snooping). They encrypted everything endātoāend, and they have an entire suite of products: Mail, VPN, Drive, Calendar, Password Manager!
š For my fellow #BoycottUSA peeps, Protonās privacy standards line up nicely with Canadaās own dataāprotection expectations.
They even have Frenchālanguage support for those in QuĆ©bec, and billing works smoothly in CAD.
If you do want to give it a try, they have a free tier! But if you want to commit, you can use my link and grab $20 off your first bill: pr.tn/ref/A4WTDR7V
